Summary
Fantastic Contraptions is an online flash puzzle game where you build machines to solve each level. You are able to save your contraptions and share them with your friends.
This application is a great example of simulation learning. Much like Soda Constructor it enables learners to experiment with hypothesis using the design – build – test cycle for rapid modeling. The application gives learners access to an assortment of available tools to create a contraption to reach the goal. Learners are expected to understand basic laws of gravity and physics, and are allow think creatively to in their pursuit to their goal.
Goal
The game is divided into various level which incrementally increase in difficulty. The levels consist of your building are, where you create your contraption, and your goal area. In between both area is your obstacle. The learner must experiment with various solutions in order to effectively complete all their obstaclea and reach the goal area.
